Midel is safe to use in
buildings and outdoors – here are some examples
of the many different areas of application:-
 |
A Jordanian
Power Distribution company specifies Midel for transformers
in apartment blocks to reduce the risk of fires. |
 |
Hospital trusts specify
Midel for transformers because a Midel filled transformer
is not only fire safe but also quiet during operation
compared with a cast resin transformer. |
 |
In tunnel projects,
Midel has been specified to prevent fires spreading
and to protect life, for example the use of Midel
in Italian railway locomotives on the Italy-Austria
route through Alpine tunnels. |
 |
Midel is used on oil
platforms and oil storage vessels where fire hazard
is a prime concern. |
 |
In biological sewage
treatment plants, Midel does not effect the degradation
of activated sludge. |
 |
BEWAG the German Utilities
company uses the ecologically friendly transformer
fluid Midel in Berlin because it is situated in a water
conservation area. |
