MIDEL signs deal with AQESA

MIDEL ester-based transformer fluids will be distributed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia exclusively by Al Quraishi Electrical Services (AQESA). The agreement was signed during the Middle East Electricity 2017 exhibition in Dubai.

Soltan, MIDEL’s Business Development Manager in the Middle East, commented “Partnering with a trusted regional expert such as AQESA adds huge strength to MIDEL’s position in the Middle East. AQESA will be ideally placed to assist Saudi Arabia achieve its admirable goal of increased sustainability in the energy sector. The partnership will focus on growing the utilisation of MIDEL transformer fluids in Saudi Arabia".

MIDEL Natural and Synthetic transformer fluids offer significant advantages over mineral oil (the conventional transformer cooling and insulating fluid), namely in fire safety, environmental protection and increased transformer performance. The appointment of AQESA as the representative of M&I Materials in Saudi Arabia directly addresses market conditions and customer requirements in the region.

Mr. Saad Z. Al-Arfaj, Managing Director of AQESA said “We are very excited to partner with M&I Materials to spread the adoption of MIDEL transformer fluids. We plan to utilise our extensive network of customers and partners to bring MIDEL to the Kingdom’s power transmission and distribution network”.
